straw ash glaze chawan

the same dark stoneware clay as in the previous piece
fired to very different effect.
the glaze contains wheat straw ash, feldspar and wood ash
and there is a patch of iron ore glaze on one side.
this combination is inspired by the traditional
chosen garatsu style of japanese ceramics, but
uses different raw materials for a central european,
darker version
